The dark red silicone skin is held in place by medical metal clips and it has a nice tactile feel to it. It will sway gently as you walk past it.The video below the sculpture shows me cutting a huge piece of vegetable tanned leather hide over and over again.
I held the saw up on a surface of cowhide leather full of burn marks, and tried to control it, to move it in the direction I wanted, struggling with it repeatedly, cutting through its protective leather and into harder places.
